Kristin's Trash the Dress: The Great Salt Lake

During my trip to Salt Lake City last week, I met up with Kristin, a wife and mother of over five years, at the Great Salt Lake to shoot her Trash the Dress session! The kids were locked up in the van while Kristin and I ran around this really neat train car, empty warehouse, and finally the actual lake itself.
Remember, trash the dress doesn't necessary involve any "trashing" at all. For this session, the only damage was a little wet sand on the train, which shook right off! Kristin also chose to wear her wedding day jewelry of way-back when, which was super cute, but the shoes, I must admit were loaned from myself- and for the record, they are pink, not red!
Let's start with a portrait from her wedding day in April of 2003 at the Salt Lake City LDS Temple, courtesy of Kristin and her husband Jason:

And on with the session! Kristin looks awesome in these portraits- isn't she a sexy Mom! Who would've thought?! :)

And here is the new trick I learned on my trip- manipulation of the sky! it's not aurora borealis folks, it's all me! But doesn't it look beautiful?
