Jon & Christy are Engaged! (San Francisco AGAIN!)

Here we are in San Francisco- AGAIN! LOL And guess what beach we went to AGAIN? BAKER! Of course! LOL

JOn & Christy are getting married just next month so their engagement portraits are a bit of a rush. Unfortunately, both Jon & Christy and I all in our separate cars got stuck in NASTY traffic coming from different directions- it took J & C THREE HOURS to get to our first shoot location when it should have taken only half that long!

So, a first time for me, we went to the Marin Headlands. Because we were on a time-crunch for light we didn't get to explore as much as I would like to, but I liked what I saw thus far. It should be fun to explore the locale a bit more with another couple later on.

For the second half of their e-session, we went to Baker again, and Christy talked JOn into re-creating my "From Here to Eternity" pose! If you don't rememeber, back in 2006 I was a finalist in a $10,000 photography Laureate competition for this image of Kevin & Jennifer Grewal, taken during their engagement session in Laguna Beach.

Anyway, kudos to Jon for being such a good sport and kudos to BOTH Jon & Christy for braving the long ride home in wet pants! Thank goodness for heated seats, right?!

On with the show!

Amber & Allen Engaged in San Francisco!

Amber and Allen did the first half of their engagement session at Baker Beach, and the second half in the financial district of San Francisco. I have now known memebers of Amber's family for over a year as I have done several weddings for her friends and family! The Herlache's who married last October, are her nephew and niece in law!

Ryoko & Kirill are married!

Sorry to everyone for being out of commission for so long, but to make up for it, I have LOTS of posts from this weekend all in the San Francisco area!

Ryoko and Kiril tied the knot in the city of San Francisco at the Swedenborgian Chapel. Despite all of the language barriers- Kirill is Russian and Ryoko is Japanese, and both of their families primarily speak Russian and Japanese- this wedding went off without a hitch!
