I really love this shot of her dress and hands...
Things didn't really turn out as-planned for Hil. She totally rocked her wedding dress, but that dress was bought the day BEFORE her wedding! Poor Hilary had originally planned on a custom designed dress but things didn't quite turn out as planned... and that little fact didn't come to light until the last minute. Which really, seriously sucked. I think she did an AMAZING job at finding a dress that really flattered her body and You looked like a knock out Hilary! But I know it definitely wasn't what was planned. That said, as I try to remind all of my couples whose plans go awry... weddings are so special, and amazing occasions. And when things go wrong it can break your heart. But the most important thing of all is that you and your partner get to spend your lives together... don't lose site that THAT is the greatest privilege and gift of all!
.... Ahem... and there is nothing wrong with spending the next year working on finding/designing a dress to your suiting and doing a special anniversary photo shoot on your 1 year, or renewing your vows with just you and your spouse in the dress you dreamed of, right? ;)
