Romantic HideOut at Kirkwood Wedding

These two amazing lovebirds married at my favorite venue of all time, The Hideout at Kirkwood. Owned and built by BJ & Tom Hoover, this 5,000 square foot cabin sleeps at least 20 people, has a a custom hottub for at least that many people, a lake to fish in and woods to shoot in! Friends and family can camp out on the property and there are trails everywhere to go hiking. This is the most precious gem in Lake Tahoe's possible wedding venues and vacation spots!!!

Christina modeled her wedding after Kevin Costner's to Christine Baumgartner, and completely embraced the outdoor theme, even going so far as to brave the heat and have her amazing bridesmaids help her put her wedding dress on outside, in the woods on the Hoover's property! Lots of our brides have elected to do this and it's been such an incredible experience!

After getting dressed in the woods, and some final touches, Christina strolled off to her romantic first look with husband to be Dustin!

Afterwards we went for some formal pictures of the bridal party and family! Aren't those lace gloves on the bridesmaids amazing?

Dustin's groomsmen were so handsome in their grey suits!

After that it was time for a little sunset canoe ride around the lake, which is where we will pick up in the next blog post!
