Emily Heizer Photography: Lake Tahoe, Sacramento, San Francisco Wedding Photographer: Big Sur & Carmel By the Sea Wedding at the Pine Inn and Il Fornaio

This was such a busy, busy day and a happy happy wedding! After the ceremony at Mission San Carlos in Carmel, we took a drive down Highway 1 to the Big Sur coastline for some couple's portraits. It was crazy windy, blindingly bright, but super pretty! We lasted all of about 5 minutes, but crammed as much in as possible into those 5 minutes! After our trip down the coast, the bride and groom took a quick break before the reception, which was held at the wonderful Il Fornaio Restaurant at the Pine Inn in Carmel by the Sea, which is one of my favorite places. I hadn't been there in more than a decade, but it was pretty much just as a remembered and just as lovely. Everyone ate, drank and was merry as could be!
