JOn & Christy are getting married just next month so their engagement portraits are a bit of a rush. Unfortunately, both Jon & Christy and I all in our separate cars got stuck in NASTY traffic coming from different directions- it took J & C THREE HOURS to get to our first shoot location when it should have taken only half that long!
So, a first time for me, we went to the Marin Headlands. Because we were on a time-crunch for light we didn't get to explore as much as I would like to, but I liked what I saw thus far. It should be fun to explore the locale a bit more with another couple later on.
For the second half of their e-session, we went to Baker again, and Christy talked JOn into re-creating my "From Here to Eternity" pose! If you don't rememeber, back in 2006 I was a finalist in a $10,000 photography Laureate competition for this image of Kevin & Jennifer Grewal, taken during their engagement session in Laguna Beach.
Anyway, kudos to Jon for being such a good sport and kudos to BOTH Jon & Christy for braving the long ride home in wet pants! Thank goodness for heated seats, right?!
On with the show!

And our re-creation, 'a la J/C:

This is your best session yet! I LOVE that first shot...and the sand shot and the one with the bridge. They are all awesome...oh and about your comment (on my blog) about lighting, whatever, you rock!
